About Me
Hi, I'm Fallout76er, a fairly new traveller in the wasteland. I am always looking for a new plan I haven't learned, a super rare item, or a funny or hidden scene tucked away somewhere on the map. I am generally a solo player, but I'll tag along on a casual teams for the perks - this generally means I've not yet run raids. I enjoy camp building, but I am largely a pragmatic builder - I build working camps with as much panche as I can. Feel free to add me as a friend, if you like.
My vendor is mostly stocked with plans, rare items, and apparel for 50 caps - I try to be new player friendly, since I appreciated the players whose shops helped me when I was coming up. Find me as Fallout76er in Social drop me a howdy-doo... or a loot bag loaded with rare stuff!

Armour & Outfit
Mr. Fuzzy helmet with Secret Service armour on every other slot — the gold standard for end-game survivability. Hunter's Long Coat over the top, because looking like a post-apocalyptic, giant-headed-cat, Victorian detective is not optional.

Tips for New Wastelanders
Don't just stay in a dead team. If you need to get to a specific corner of the Mire or the far reaches of the Skyline Valley, pull up the Social menu. Check the map for player icons in those regions, see what teams they are on, and jump ship. Using teammates' CAMPs and Survival Tents as free anchors is the only way to move across Appalachia without draining your caps.
Daily and Weekly challenges shouldn't be a race against the clock or other players. If the challenge is "Kill 10 Yao Guai" or "Collect 50 Wood," don't fight over spawns at Dolly Sods in a public server. Pop into a Private World. Every spawn is fresh, every resource node is full, and you won't find a level 1000 player has already cleared out the lead at the Charleston Fire Department.
Since the map expanded, the Rusty Pick isn't the only game in town. Rosewood Park and many Blue Ridge Caravan spots offer free or heavily discounted travel. Additionally, if you’re overencumbered and miles from a stash, remember that starting an Expedition (even if you don't intend to finish it) will teleport you to a hub with a stash box and scrip machine, regardless of your weight.
Forget selling tin cans and straight jackets. Once you hit the endgame, your daily 1,400 caps should come from selling Mutation Serums to vendors. With the right perks, a single serum sells for 500 caps. Three sales and you’ve cleared the vendor for the day in thirty seconds, leaving you more time for more important things—like perfecting your legendary rolls.
Can't craft Mutation Serums? Equip the Scrapper perk and pop a Guns and Bullets #5 magazine to maximize the scrap yield from Treasure Maps, then sell the bulked materials or the heaviest weapons to hit your 1,400-cap vendor daily limit in one go. Park your Survival Tent mear the Treasure Map dig site for cheaper travel to and fro.
If you’re on a team and your teammates are standing near you while you dig treasure, they get a small share of the loot (mostly caps and some consumables). If you have friends at a similar level, rotate who digs at the treasure site. You’ll multiply the total caps the group brings in without spending any extra maps.
Keeping a localized "spawn list" is the ultimate pro move for knocking out Dailies in under ten minutes; for example, knowing exactly where to find 3 Snallygasters (Toxic Larry's) or 5 Yao Guai (Middle Mountain Pitstop) saves you from wandering aimlessly. Additionally, never skip Public Events, as they are the most efficient way to farm S.C.O.R.E. and season tickets while simultaneously stocking up on Treasury Notes and legendary scrip.
Moonshine Jamboree is arguably the best cap farm in the game. If you loot every gulper, you’ll walk away with hundreds of Gulper Innards. Cook them into Gulper Slurry (with Super Duper equipped) to gain massive XP and enough high-value food to clear out a vendor’s entire 1,400-cap stash in one go. It’s also one of the few reliable sources of Raider Reputation.
Safe and Sound is the "goodie" goldmine for high-level players looking for specific gear. It’s the primary source for the Blue Ridge Branding Iron and the Blue Ridge Scout Outfit, which still hold high trade value in player vendors. Beyond the XP from the waves of Cryptids, the event rewards Treasury Notes and often drops high-tier consumables like Stimpaks and Rad-Away that you can sell or hoard for your next run.
Don't ask me for help or tips on Raids - maybe when I reach level 1000.
Rusty's Curios & Rares
My camp vendor is open whenever I'm online. Stock rotates regularly — rare weapon plans, apparel, the occasional legendary. Look for the billboard on the Burning Springs riverbank, just off Route 50. You can't miss it. The Deathclaw nest out front is a feature, not a bug.
Mutations
Eight mutations locked in permanently by Starched Genes, with penalties cut ~75% by Class Freak rank 3. The set works as a system: Eagle Eyes and Adrenal Reaction fuel the crit loop; Egg Head feeds Intelligence back into the build; Grounded provides energy resistance without touching the weapon loadout; Marsupial and Speed Demon keep mobility and carry weight competitive; Herd Mentality rewards grouping; Well Hydrated sustains AP regen for the critical meter. The negatives are largely theoretical at this point.

Furious Prime Dom Pedro Rifle ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Furious Prime Dom Pedro lever action rifle — five-star legendary
The Dom Pedro is more than a repurposed frontier rifle; it is a relic of "The Magnanimous" philosophy, adapted for the harsh realities of the Appalachian Wasteland. Named after the last Emperor of Brazil—a scholar-king who valued progress but was ultimately forced into exile—this five-star Lever Action represents a similar marriage of tradition and radical advancement. Legend among seasoned Vault Dwellers suggests the rifle was commissioned by a high-ranking technician who grew tired of the "obscene" waste of heavy energy weapons. It does not belong to the trading posts or the caps-driven economy of the Whitespring; it is a non-transferable statement of personal sovereignty. To carry Dom Pedro is to wield a tool that demands perfection and returns it in kind.
