Fast-travel to Landview Lighthouse when the event is live, fill the lamp with bioluminescent fluid from radtoads and fireflies, and the Wise Mothman spawns at the base once it is lit. The single best way to tick a Mothman challenge — commune with him after for a hefty XP buff.
Starting this event at Hunter's Shack in the Mire can draw a vengeful Mothman. Not guaranteed, but a solid secondary if Encryptid is not active.
