Hello, fellow wanderer! Today I was on a mission to nail down the 3rd and 4th locations of Cranberry Bog treasure maps. I had collected vague hints and some hand-drawn sketches of each. I started with Cranberry Bog Treasure Map #3. I first fast traveled to the Overgrown Sundew Grove in the south end of the Cranberry Bog. After I arrived there, I turned and faced west. I was able to see Firebase Hancock Sheriff's badge icon to the right of my west compass HUD indicator and the Overgrown Sundew Grove's pine tree icon to its left. I carefully wended my way west along the edge or outskirt of the Grove. As I moved westward, I saw a large, modern, space-age tower-thing on my right and wondered what it might be. I'd make a note of that to explore later.
What I was looking for was a very large, leafless oak-like tree on my right, not a pine tree, an oak tree. I was told it'd be the largest tree I'd see. After finally spotting it, I made my way to its base. There was a small pond of stagnant, oily water. Between the large, dead tree and the toxic pond, near a beaver-gnawed stump, I found the treasure mound. It was covered in pine needles or grass and had gray rocks mixed in. I will confess that on my way around the grove of weird fleshy pink, pollen-clouded plants, I got ambushed by six, six I say, Scorchbeasts! One of them a legendary one to boot! There were also various Scorched enemies that attacked, including a couple of high-level ones like a Leader. They took more hits than usual to put down. If you follow my directions and die, don't worry, I'll save your loot bag… promise!
