Mire Map 01 — Two Scarecrows and a Mound — Appalachia treasure map

To get to the first treasure map of the Mire region, I first fast travel to Fort Atlas, which is a free travel spot — a cap saved is more to spend on 4-star weapons to scrap for mods. Once I arrive there, I fast travel to Hopewell Cave. Because I'm an adrenaline junkie, I attack the Deathclaw in the cave — you, of course, do you. Looking at the cave opening, I turn to face east and climb. I used to spend loads of AP running around mountains and cliffs, but since I discovered the joys of being the love child of a mangy opossum and Iron Man via the Marsupial Serum, I hop up them lickety-split. At the top, I can see the rocky rent that leads down into the cave. Still facing east, I look for a small cemetery. To the north-northeast of the cemetery is a pumpkin scarecrow. Keeping the ill-dressed crow monger on my left, I begin to run east. It is quite a distance, but I keep my bearing east as much as possible until I can see an abandoned wooden shack. As I warily approach the structure, keeping it on my left, I advance until I'm at the corner of the shack across from another Halloween-themed scarecrow. Keeping this guy on my right, I move forward a few paces, looking for a mound of brown soil and rocks.

After grabbing as much loot as I can carry, I either fast travel or jog northwest to Sunnytop Station, depending on my carry weight. Fortunately, the Mire region is one that drops high-end gear like laser weapons, plasma rifles, combat armor, and marine armor. More importantly, maps here feature advanced, highly sought-after plans.
